The LST 325, a Landing Ship Tank, will visit Brandenburg; September 2 – 5. This 328-foot-long ship will be docked off Brandenburg’s historic riverfront and be open for tours from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day.
Come to Brandenburg, KY to see this piece of World War II history. Meade County Tourism, MCHAPS, and Meade County Angel Ministry are working in coordination with the LST 325, the City of Brandenburg, and Meade County Fiscal Court to plan a large multi-day celebration. The almost week-long festivities will start with an opening ceremony and presentation. There will also be a classic car show, a Jeep gathering, food trucks, artisan booths, a historic book fair with authors, and Saturday night will keep the festivities going late with a concert in the park and beer garden.
