This family-friendly event will celebrate the complicated and tragic life of Leah Smock. Speakers will include her descents, historians, and writer of Weird Meade County. The day will also celebrate the spooky season with haunted happenings, trick-or-treats, great food, and children's activities.
An event 200 years in the making! What better way to celebrate 200 years of Meade County history than with a Celebration? Starting with a Parade down Broadway. Then we will move down to Riverfront Park for concerts, an antique tractor show, vendor booths, a kids' zone, and fireworks at dark.
